Currently working on Book 6 of The Secretary Series!!!

I finally have gotten back my writing voice that I had lost and am currently back to the world of Carter, Ariana, their kids Josh and Emily, and their friends Matteo and Elena! Look out for Book 6, My Everything!

It’s taken so long to feel like myself again in terms of writing, and I’m so much happier with where I’m at now than I was before. 🙂 It took me a few books to get it back, and I’m thankful to say I’m back to being who I was and I’m excited for you all to read the next book!

One more left after this one before the series is complete! I’ll miss Carter and Ariana so much! This time they’re even older and their kids have grown up. 🙂 It’s going to be a bittersweet ending once the last book after this one is finished. I just love them so much.

In case you wanted to read the rest of the series, you can find a link to all of my books and websites and social media here!

Secretary Series Updates on the Upcoming Books

I had previously explained what the last two novels would be about. How they would be focused on their son, Josh, and daughter, Emily; however, I decided to continue with the books before them and make them in Carter and Ariana’s POV. So, that way you still get to follow your two beloved characters rather than their children. You get to watch them deal with not only getting older, but also dealing with their kids.

The kids will still have the same struggles as previously stated, but you will get more of a glimpse into how Carter and Ari feel about it and how they handle it. ^-^ I thought it would make more since, due to how the series is, to keep it in their perspective. Plus, Carter wouldn’t stop talking so… haha. If anyone writes and knows how that is… know you’re not alone.

I just thought I would come on here and tell you all that I have decided that was a better way to approach the last two books. ^-^

I can’t say when they will be published online because I’ve been writing a lot slower than I used to due to getting diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, which makes some days hard to write. But, I’ve been powering through and still doing what I love. ^-^

Anyway, hope you are all okay with the slight change on those books. ^-^

Also, my friend made me notice that I actually have published like eight or nine novels in a year. I thought I was slowing down a lot, but I guess I wasn’t. haha I didn’t realize how much I’ve written, it shocked me. lol

I hope you all have a lovely day or night and always remember to be yourself no matter what others say! ❤

Their Fate Excerpt

“Come.” Carter took her hand and yanked her to the full-length mirror in the suite. He placed her in front of it and stared at her in the mirror. “Look at yourself and tell me what you see.”

“A sad woman that had her husband stop loving her.” Ariana let tears fall down her cheeks.

“Ouch, okay, look beyond that. Look into that woman’s eyes in the mirror and tell her three things she finds amazing about her.” Carter ignored what she had said about him and waited.

Ariana chewed on her trembling bottom lip and sighed. “Fine…” She cleared her throat and searched her own body and gaze. “I guess, I guess she’s beautiful.”

“Good, she is a very stunning woman.” Carter smiled at her reflection. “Come on, what else, Ari.”

“She’s a good mother.” Ariana sniffed as she let a sob escape.

“She’s a damn amazing mother. Tell her what else you think about her.” Carter’s smile grew as he watched her bloom from a wilted rose.

“She’s a badass business owner. She’s kind. She’s independent. She’s strong. She’s smart. She’s confident. She’s not afraid to risk everything and take chances. She’s creative and a great writer.” Ariana swallowed hard and panted as she smiled big, turning in the mirror to admire herself. “And the marks show all of the pain and suffering that she had endured and used to become stronger.”

“Yes, baby, yes!” Carter grabbed her cheeks and got lost in her gaze, searching them and watching her lips part in wonder. “That’s what I wanted you to see. All I wanted you to see. To see the good in you. To see that your beauty transcends your body. You’re gorgeous, astounding, bright, and stunning on the inside. So much so… it bursts at the seams. A book is not just about the cover, Ari. It’s the magic that is inside that move the world and its readers. Not the cover, never the cover.”

Their Fate: Book 5 of The Secretary Series is currently processing to go live on Amazon Kindle!!!!

Summary:

Ariana Adams and Carter Anderson had tried to make it work between their two kids, D/s lifestyle, and owning a business together, but it had gotten too difficult. The stress and delicate balance of it all had caused the string between them to slowly widen until it finally snapped.

Currently, Carter was battling alcoholism and the loss of his wife, Ariana, with his dog, Lucky, by his side. There were days that he couldn’t fathom waking up and going into the office. Days where he wanted the world to just swallow him whole, but that wasn’t in his cards.

Ariana was, currently, holding the world on her shoulders, between their two kids, Josh and Emily, and Anderson Publishing Co. She had taken her position as assistant to a whole new level because she had to. She could stop being a wife, but she couldn’t stop being a boss and a mother.

But one thing was for sure…. they missed one another dearly, and their kids only wanted one thing…. for them to fix it.

But was it too late or could they learn to become strong again and make it work?

The playlist is on Spotify too, if you want to listen to the songs that I wrote the book to! 🙂

Their Fate: Book 5 of The Secretary Series (Prologue)

Their Fate Cover by Minette Enfers

“You told me you would be different from your father when I was pregnant the first time! Did you lie to me? To us?” Ariana jabbed her index finger at Carter in her frustration.

Carter stumbled, unsure of how to answer her. He didn’t want to hurt her and the longer they were together and working together, the worse it had gotten. The gap had only widened between them regardless of how hard they had tried to stop it from happening.

Ariana grabbed her engagement and wedding rings from her left ring finger, twisting them off and throwing them at his face. “I’m done, Carter. I’m tired of trying, and trying, and trying, and all you are doing is working! I’m tired of making excuses for why you can’t go to one of Josh’s games. Why you can’t come to one parent/teacher conference for either Emily or Josh. I’m just tired. I’m going to my parents and staying there for a bit with the kids. I’ll have the divorce papers sent to you.”

“Wait, Ari,” Carter called after her to try and make her stop.

“You know what the last straw was, Carter? Do you? I bet you don’t.” Ariana crossed her arms with tears sparkling along the brim of her eyes.

“What?” Carter was afraid to ask, but he knew he had to know.

Ariana’s bottom lip trembled and her hands fell to the sides of her hips as she clenched them into fists, making her knuckles white. “You missed your daughter’s sixth birthday.” She took a trembling breath in before continuing in a livider tone, “for a damn fucking meeting.”

Carter clenched his eyes tightly shut as he heard her heels on the hardwood floor, making their way to the front door.

And with the slam of a door, Carter was single and what he liked to call, a lifelong bachelor and it nearly broke him.

Also I have a secret….

If you have been following and reading The Secretary Series? I have three more books planned that are off on their own yet loosely connected.

Their Fate is about Carter and Ariana and fixing their marriage after it is broken and how their two kids help them fix it. Happy ending, promise.

Carry Me Away is about their son, Josh, a pro baseball player, stressed with his father wanting him to take over the business so he can retire and take care of the restaurant full time. When he is at a bar, he meets Ashley, a man that brightens his day and makes him realize that it’s okay to have fun and be who he is. Josh explains that he doesn’t understand his parents’ lifestyle and Ashley explains it to him in a way that makes him understand them better. In the end, Josh comes out to his parents but little does he know… Carter and Ari already know and have accepted him since he was born and his boyfriend since he walked in the door.

Taken By You is the story of their daughter Emily, who has always wanted Anderson Publishing Co. and takes it when her brother turns it down after Ari convinces Carter to let her. Matteo’s son, Daniel, shows up one day to work there and she falls for him. Little does she know that her father is who told him to apply for it because Daniel was struggling to use his business degree and Carter knew that Emily was looking for a new employee.

Theses are all basic gists of long drawn out outlines I have done. lol

SURPRISE! haha Hopefully, you all are as excited as I am. I apparently can’t let these characters go. LMAO
