Through Rain and Moonlight is now in Hardcover!

I wanted to make a pretty hardcover version for readers to have on their shelves if they wanted to. I know a lot of us enjoy having pretty hardcovers on our shelves. ^-^

Lately, I’ve been working on the next Secretary Series book, but I also have been working on a second book to Through Rain and Moonlight about Cormac, Aodh’s Dragon shifter Fire Gentry cousin, who is in this book. I felt like some readers might want to know his story and enjoy one about him because I know some of us also enjoy the villain. 😉

This book does have fade to black with steamy scenes in it, but it isn’t what you would usually expect from me in terms of spice level. However, the book about Cormac will be full spice level you would expect from my fingertips. haha.

TRIGGER WARNINGS are as follows for this book: Violence, War, Mentions of the Loss of a Child, Blood, and Gore.

This book dips it’s toes into a more gothic-like style at moments once you get to meet Cormac. He’s a seductively dark and twisted man with a equally dark past. And yes, yes, he has dragon wings and can shift into a dragon. Along with him, Aodh, the main lead in Through Rain and Moonlight, is also a shifter too but he shifts into a black cat/panther. While Cormac is a Fire Gentry (Fae), Aodh is half Earth and half Fire and a Cat-Sidhe. So, if shifters, faeries, war, and romance are your thing… Come on an adventure with Mortal Aisling and see what Cillian Castle has to offer.

Through Rain and Moonlight Teaser

The lagoon was deeper than I had expected, going on for miles until I couldn’t see the bottom. It felt like being in the middle of a vast ocean. Emptiness with mysteries lurking beneath. My heart sped up, as I began to worry about being eaten by something bigger than the two of us, causing me to breathe out.

Foolish.

My lungs burned as I ran out of oxygen, begging to swim to the surface and struggling against him to become free. He held me tighter and suddenly his hand reached up to grab my chin.

My eyes flung open, burning from the water, and I relaxed once I saw his calm expression. I ran my gaze from his eyes to his lips and back again, wondering what he was planning. Looking back at his lips, I wondered what they would feel like again. I wondered how well he kissed. I wondered what would happen if he did? The very curse that had plagued me many times now.

Snapping out of it, I realized I was completely out of oxygen. My lungs begging to breathe and my chest heaving. I was close to my body choosing for me, and it terrified me. This wasn’t how I had thought I would go, suffocating in the arms of a Cat-Sidhe.

He brought my gaze to his again, and I frantically looked at him.

Help me, please!

His lips suddenly crashed onto mine, and I closed my eyes and tried to not gasp beneath the waves for fear of drowning.

Part your lips and breathe.

Are you insane? Do you want me to drown?

The opposite, lass.

I parted my lips, allowing him to grant me air. I breathed in with my lips locked on his. He gripped the nape of my neck, holding me against him as he breathed with me. His lips brushed along mine, and I was lost in him. My fingers sinking into his hair and suddenly everything became alive. No longer was it a dull silence with the weak sounds of the lagoon around us. I could suddenly hear everything as if I was on the land.

Updates!

I couldn’t sign into my WordPress for a bit. lol Since last time I wrote on here, I have dropped a few books. My newest being a Fantasy book about Good Folk with a heavy focus on a Cat-Sidhe male lead. ^-^ I’ll drop the summary below and the playlist I wrote to. It just went live today!

It was the fastest I’ve ever had a book go live. Usually Amazon Kindle takes around 36 hours to drop one of my books and it took less than an hour to drop this one. lol I was so surprised! lol Anyway, onward we go…

Summary:

When Aisling is being pursued by a man named Cian, a man who offers her food, shelter, and protection yet is wanted by every woman in the village, she’ll do anything to get away and become free. Even make a deal with a Cat-Sidhe, Prince Aodh, despite growing up being warned to never give a Fae her name. For names held power and to give a Fae your name was giving them control over you.

However, everything she has been taught by her parents and within her village seem to be just fairytales to scare away children from being spirited away. A future she had always wanted as a child to the point it had scared her parents.
But now her parents were gone and she had no friends but a librarian named Declan, who researches Fae in his enchantment room beneath his library, with nowhere to turn to be free of the village.

She had requested several items from Declan in the past: wine, bread, and beautiful locations to enjoy them. But the last item she had asked for is the most important: a sphere of moonstone. A stone known for healing, divine wisdom, clairvoyance, love, and fortune. But most of all, a leap to new beginnings. A step to freedom and the right to choose her own destiny.

But is Aodh, Prince of the Forest of Lights, the right choice or has she just found herself tumbling right into the same predicament she had been running from?

A world of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air with an impending war to be won and a heartbroken Prince torn between two selves.
